I use vp-asp v3.50. I have done a lot of my own customization. However, a couple of things I would like to tackle may be beyond me.
I would like to move as many of the business rules i.e. add to cart, check out, etc to stored procedures. In addition, I would love to move away from the use of session variables. Some sort of a temporary cart that the shopper can come back to, I think cookies would work, but I've thought about using the file system object to just create cart files.
One of the things that bugs me is the amount of spaghetti code that vp-asp uses. I would like to start thinking about moving the whole thing to a .net
