Would be very nice if there was the ability to use features and control the stock/inventory of each feature. For example, if I'm selling t-shirts it would be nice to use the features to control size and color while being able to track stock of each sm, med, lg, blue, red, green, etc... t-shirt sold. Currently we have to setup each one by itself, so instead of one t-shirt product we would have 10 or 20. |

Hi Mike,
Setting this up for features would be incredibly difficult simply because of the number of possible permutations available.
What we have done instead is create Inventory Products which allows you to display "child products" which can be a "SM, Green, T-shirt" for example. This way the shift can be have a stock value, weight etc and still cover the different options available such as Medium and Large sizes.
You set up a parent product and then associate the child products with the parent.
The child products can be displayed using check boxes, radio buttons or drop downs.
You can read more in our User Guide in Chapter 3.16.8 Difference between Features and Inventory Products and further in 3.16.10 Inventory Products.
Hope this helps
Thanks Cam
