For some reason (unknown to me), my customer is insisting that when selecting a category, it displays like this :

page 1 of 20

they want it to say

products 1 to 10 of 327

ideas ?

But anyway they do so let's get on with it.

You would need to add in extra code in the pagebar subs which are referenced from the shopdisplayproducts and are found in the shopdb file.

I would get the number of products in the category calculated and then transfer it to the relevant pagebar sub. This would then give you the basis to work out the number of products shown so far.

Has your customer said you can have 10 products per page as this would make the calculations easier.

Another way of doing it would be to incorporate BYZ116 (from bigyellowzone) as this has much better page handling than is inbuilt in VP. This is the way I would go as I have just incorporated this into all our sites after testing it on our main site.

It gives much more control and I would expect would have the basics of what you need already in there. You would just need to go through the code and find it.
