It seems the only valid field that I can use to sort products is the catalogid field in the products table. When I try to use other fields in the product table I get the following error message
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]ORDER BY items must appear in the select list if SELECT DISTINCT is specified.

Hi There,

The reason is because after changing the xsortproduct, your session is still the old xsortproduct variable. please ensure that you have cleared all session cookies after changing the xsortproducts setting.

Refreshing your browsers cache should resolve this issue for you. or you can try to run shopend.asp?end=1 and it will clear your session.
