How do you use small images or thumbnails on your category pages and reserve the large image for the detail/order page?

I have searched this forum and read the manuals and I'm not finding anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

It depends on your config options, the contents of your template files, which version you're on, and exactly which urls you're talking about, see also:

(ie it's all do-able, it's just a question of working out exactly which bits you want to change once you know all the options)
