Our web site front page here: http://volaretees.com/shopping/default.asp
is beginning to look good. However, there are two things I'd like to change about the subsequent pages:

1. I'd like to bypass this page entirely: http://volaretees.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?search=yes&bc=no and go straight here: http://volaretees.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=17

2. I don't like how the category pages here: http://volaretees.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=10&cat=Men%27s+Artsy+Stuff don't look like the front page, I'd prefer that they look the same as here: http://volaretees.com/shopping/default.asp (without the opening blurb) simply sorted by category.

The idea is, they see a thumbnail on either the main page or the categories page, and see the blown up image after 1 click on a thumbnail, where they also have the opportunity to order.

Anyone done anything like this before?

Thanks,

-Mark

for point 1....

The url that jumps to the spurious product-summary page is done with the front page templates; to go straight to shopexd instead, edit tmp_frontpage.htm in notepad, and change all instances of this:

shopquery.asp?catalogid=[catalogid]

to this:

shopexd.asp?id=[catalogid]

same kind of issue happens on top-sellers too; the template for that is tmp_topsellers.htm

Simon,

Thanks a ton.

Ok, that seems to work, so all I have left is to figure out how to make the category page (see above) look like my front page.

Any ideas?
