I added "langauthenticity" to languages in English and Norwegian
And added the following code in content html.

<p><a href="shopcontent.asp?type=authenticity" target="_self"><%= getlang("langauthenticity")%></a></p>

but the outcome is <%= getlang("langauthenticity")%> with link.

It does not change to English. Am I missing anything here?

Help please.

Make sure that you clicked reset language after you added your new language record, and if you're using the record as a link try:
<%=Server.HTMLEncode(getlang("langauthenticity"))%>

Thanks Carrol,

I have done all you suggested, but it doesn't change at all.
I still have raw code displayed.
I have reset language and reload the shop config as well.
It could be something to do with server??
I have to use ticket.

Unfortunately you cannot insert asp syntax in the tmp_content.htm page, your code should be

<p><a href="shopcontent.asp?type=authenticity" target="_self">[getlang langauthenticity]</a></p>
