 Not able to use my template in category		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I added tmp_categorytemplate_sub.htm in the Template field of Category.

I set xcategoryusetemplate to YES.
I left xcategorydisplaytemplate to tmp_categorytemplate.htm which is default.

When I see my subcategory, it does not using my template.

Can anyone tell me how to set up to use my template in categories?

Please clarify again, if the new template file is tmp_categorytemplate_sub.htm, your xcategorydisplaytemplate should be tmp_categorytemplate_sub.htm not the default tmp_categorytemplate.htm. When you browse to the shopdisplaycategories.asp, it should showing your template.

I put tmp_categorytemplate_sub.htm in a field when I create a category.

If I have to put tmp_categorytemplate_sub.htm in the xcategorydisplaytemplate, then what is the purpose of having a field of template in a category?
