When I try to upload images in a category page I get the following error and not able to upload any images.

Errors occurred trying to create D:\inetpub\vhosts\mywebsite.com\httpdocs\images\myimage.jpg
Permission denied

Could anyone tell me what I need to do?

ah this sounds like you the folder you are uploading the files to doesnt have read/write permission. get your host to give your IUSR account read/write permission on the images folder

I can change it by FTP.
Which chomod do I need to use?

777, 755 or 744?

Hi there,

We saw this post, and we have updated the permission for you. Could you please test again and if you are still having issues please open a help desk ticket so we can investigate further.

We believe modifying permission via FTP will only works if the server is a Linux server, since ours are Windows, modifying it through ftp will not work
