Hi, I am trying to implement a PC builder on our website similar to the one at this link.
http://www.pcusa.com/shopKitConfig.asp?id=KIT-12

Anyone know how to do this? I will take helpful hints or quotes on what it would cost to craft such an item.

Thanks
Greg

I do not know how to write the script, but I got his code. There are 321 lines in his shopKitConfig.asp file. Has a little java script mixed in. I don't think I should post his file info here so I can either send you the file or tell you how to get it yourself.

There's a Dell-equivalent shopping cart for selling PC system & hardware but it cost a bomb. Around $600++ per site.

Check it out at www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/

But it'll be good if VP-ASP can be configured to build something similar too. I think it's going to take something more than the 321 lines in the shopKitConfig.asp file so build something similar, but I'm not sure.

OK he is using features with increase pricing on the features, That is easy to build on vpasp.

other than the updating of the price each time you add something vpasp can do this right out of the box just will require some data entry

Hmmm....this is very interesting. How did Mike get the code? Is this a demonstration of a security hole that the rest of us ASP store owners should be plugging up?
