The merchant wants his products displayed in a certain order within a category. I tried using ascending numeric values in Other1 and added
' Added this line to force products to show in merchant's preferred
' sequence field pother1 stores sequence number
SQL = SQL + ",pother1" '''' modified this line
around line 100 in file shopdisplayproducts.asp, subroutine DisplayProducts, immediately prior to the line that calls subroutine ShopOpenRecordSet
The wierd thing is that it seems to work for some, but not all, categories. Anyone got a better, simplier, and/or supported way to
force products to be displayed in an arbitrary order? Thanks! Jack |
