Okay this has me confused.

I'm trying to set up productmatching on our sites as we are about to set up a site which will be selling something completely different to our current range. But I am having problems in my testing.

Here's what I've done:
  • xproductmatch set to "yes"

  • const xproductmatch set to "sextoys" in the shop$config file

  • productmatch in products table set to "sextoys" for all products

  • productmatch in categories table set to "sextoys" for all categories
So that has worked and all products are displayed.

I then changed the productmatch field in 3 products to "dummy" as a test to see if the 3 products would display. Unfortunately they did display, but they shouldn't.

Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

Now that is wierd.

Left it overnight and now it is working as it should.

Aren't computers wonderful
