I setup a coupon.but it doesnt work in the final paypal payment .

I think I found what is wrong.
paypal gateway dont add coupon in the final.
but I dont know how to edit it.

Hi there,

Coupons are added to the cart before the order goes to PayPal. You enter the coupon on the shopcustomer.asp page and the coupon amount is deducted from the total.

The revised order total is then sent to PayPal.

Is this not happening with your site?

If not you may need to post a ticket in our help desk so we can review for you

it does revise the order total
but it doesnt send it to paypal.
I have run out of my support point for asking a lot of newibe questions.
I think it should be a mistake or bug for vpasp paypal gateway.

This is a bug in the new PayPal individual items module.

We have updated your site so it should now work.

Cam, what is new PayPal individual items module? Can you please provide some guidance? I want to able to send the shipping charge separately rather than included in the total sent to paypal.

We are developing an add-on for PayPal Standard that allows the sending of individual line items to PayPal.

Shipping at this stage is not separated out. We may look at this down the track however.

Hi Support,

Any progress here ?

I am facing the exact same problem. All the items are sent individually to paypal that recalculates the total without taking into account the coupon. So I turn off this feature to just send the total...

ps: by the way, I also found a bug that I fixed in paypalipngateway.asp. the taxes amount must be 2 decimals only if you want paypal to take this into account when you send individual items. here is the fix

around line 64, replace the line
<input type="hidden" name="tax_cart" value<%="getsess("taxes")%>" />

by:

<input type="hidden" name="tax_cart" value="<%= formatnumber(getsess("taxes"), 2)%>" />

Currently you cannot use coupon discounts if you are using the send individual items to PayPal. They are not compatible at this point.
