I have the PayPal IPN gateway for VP-ASP 6.5. While going through the readme file to install, I came across a section titled, Payment Notification. Underneath, it states that some info will display in the Orders Table. Where is the Orders Table? The location is not stated and I am unable to find it or the info.

Also, in my PayPal account, there is a message to address the API settings which is labeled as required. What's an API and what are the VP-ASP preferred settings?

I checked with PayPal about the API and they said that it is required to choose between one of two options. They also said that they couldn't tell me which was the right one, that it depends on the cart and to ask the shopping cart provider. So, what are the criteria for defining an API for VP-ASP?

Hi Adam

PayPal IPN does not need an API.

You just need to install it and follow the instructions in the readme file.

The orders table is viewable in your VPASP administration console.
