I want to change the Password field for purchasing from a registry to read First Name. I dont think I need to change the way this field is setup, it will just be that every user will now use their first name as the password without knowing it.

Does anyone know where this is located and if this will cause any problems with the process?

what if you have the 2 different people with the same surname or if that same person want to have 2 gift registry, they wont be able to do that if you only use surname

Shouldn't be an issue, at least not for a long long time with this client.

Do you know where or how I can change it?

i think you just need to change shopgiftregprivatelogin.asp

SQL = SQL & " AND " & " regpassword='" & loginpassword & "'"
SQL = SQL & " AND " & " lastname='" & LoginLastname & "'"

to

SQL = SQL & " AND " & " firstname='" & loginpassword & "'"
SQL = SQL & " AND " & " lastname='" & LoginLastname & "'"
