Are you accessing your Admin using HTTPS? Never access your admin using a normal HTTP. Always use the HTTPS at the start of a web address.

I have just purchased a SSL certificate for my website. I use a remote server and have VPASP 6.5.
What are the steps to make the admin areas accessible using HTTPS.

Thanks
Dwight

Hi Dwight,

If you just add an "s" at the end of the "http" in your admin url and all of the admin will be viewed in secure mode.

For example:

https://www.yourdomain.com/shopadmin.asp

This will allow you to log in and remain in SSl mode.

Thanks
Cam

or if you want it to come on all the time and you own the server go under IIS and then look for you server properties for you hosted pages. You will see all the pages under the server in the right window. Look for shopadmin.asp and right click on it and select properties. Then click on file security and click on edit secure communications. Click require secure communication and click 128bit encryption. THen ok. Now whenever that page is opened it always in ssl mode.
