Hello All,
I am trying to set up dependent products to make the following scenario work.
We have a product that we want to offer at 50% off the normal price. So I have set that up as a new product already discounted. When you click this product and try to check-out, there are dependent products (one of which must be ordered as well) that should be displayed.
Right now all I get is the default error page. Can I create a custom page? Is there supposed to be a default custom page? The manual says a message will be triggered that states "you must purchase a dependent product." I am not seeing this message.
When I click the view button below the above message, I get a search page that displays all of the dependent products. Which I then can add to the cart. But when I try to check out with both products in the cart, I get the same error message.
Does anyone know how to make this work?
Is there a better way?
