It would be nice to see VPASP able to parse the information requested by google to analytics

The information is here. http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?answer=55528&topic=11002

Im sure for a asp guru it would be fairly easy to impliment into the shopthanks.asp file

Hi

I tried to implement Google Analytics but found it a nightmare to set up how I wanted it. So now I have two packages installed which do the job perfectly.

I have Metatraffic (http://www.metasun.com/products/metatraffic/default.asp) which monitors all customer movements and Trackpoint (http://www.interspire.com/trackpoint/) which keeps an eye on my ROI for advertising etc.

Steve, I was hoping to add analytics to our ancient v4.x VP-ASP cart. Metatraffic looks interesting. Does it help you understand what people are doing in your shopping cart, and why they are leaving and so forth? Or are you just using it for general web analytics? I'm especially interesting in the shopping cart analytics since straight IIS log files don't tell much with the VP-ASP cart logs.

Thanks!
