I have recently purchased VP-ASP v6.5 Deluxe with the VP-ASP Tech-Blue Template. I would like to change the background color for the entire site; however, I am having difficulty locating the file and line(s) of code that need to be changed to accomplish this. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
John

If you only want to change the background of the site (behind the template) then it is in stylesheets/shop.css (or you might have to make the change in whatever css file came with the template) under the "body section" - around line 11. Change the color, or add a line for the background color if it isn't already there.

Lisa,

Thanks for your help. Once I added a background-color line to the shop.css file, my issue was resolved.

Within the body code just type: background-color: #yourcolor;

and you should be good.

My question is how do you just change the main background color with effecting the whole interface. Good example is look at VPASP. The background is gray that what i want but without effecting the rest of the interface.

Alright i just figured it out.

Under body you have to specify the color you want and so does the container.

My example the background-color: #333366; (blue)

Containter: background-color: #ffffff; (white)

and there you go you background is specfied. Hope this helps. Oh configure this in shop.css.
