I added the free RSS add-on and went through the steps to generate the new pages, tables, etc. but when I try to add product to the rss it doesn't show it as added. I also receive the error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0046'
Permission denied
/shop/shopa_rssgenerate.asp, line 35

When attempting to run "generate rss feed"?

I have given the file full permissions and nothing changed.
Has anyone else ran into this issue or know how to solve it?

Hi Ben,

Have you set READ/WRITE on the folder you are creating the feed in or on the file itself?

The permissions need to be set on the folder and not the file otherwise you will get an error like this.
