 Left Menu does not Show Catagories

The left menu no longer displays categories or products. The horizontal menu does not display products when selected. Could someone point me in a direction to correct this.

The database passes the diag_dbtest.asp test.

Do you have a url we can look at?

Please note that if you have not gone through the security check list listed in the admin please don't post the url here.

Instead it may be better for the support guys to look at it through the help desk.

If you have please free to post a link.

http://www.c-and-e-museum.org/MercuryShop/default1.asp is the site. The default.asp now has info to clients that there is a problem.

Hi Keith,

Log into your online Set-p and locate :

xlogonrequired

Change this to No and the categories and products will appear.

Thanks Cam but it didn't change it. This problem just started two days ago without my assistance. \no one else claims to have touched the setup? Its odd that the random products would show.
Any ideas, the help is appreciated.

Hi Keith,

When I open the link I am redirected to:

http://www.c-and-e-museum.org/MercuryShop/shoploginforce.asp

This is generally caused by the xlogonrequired being set to Yes.

Can you post this in our online help desk and our support crew will have a look for you.

The fix for my problem is pasted below in the hope it may assist others.

"I found that xproductmatch was also set to Yes. This will hide any products or categories not assigned to this site.

I have changed this to No and now the categories display as required."

Again thanks Cam I am sure I would have found that fix out myself sometime in the next year or so.
