on May 14th USPS is changing some of the international and Domestic services around as well as rates.

Is this going to cause major problems?

Does anyone have any details on changes to the API?

Hi!

From the details we have been sent, our USPS rates modules should not be affected by these changes.

We do recommend that you ensure you have the latest versions of the files from our site, though.

Regards,

How is this possible? When going directly to usps.com they now require dimensions of all packages in LxWxH. This was not required before, only weight.

Dimensions are only required for buying/printing postage online. Dimensions are not required to use the postage calculator.

I'm trying to find out how to purchase/print my postage using vp-asp...is this something you are doing? How do you purchase postage online for your orders?

That would be a great deal even if someone could work out the pieces to implement some part of that.

Hi there,

The free USPS module calculates the rate for you during the order process. You would need to go to the USPS web site to have this done for you currently.

There may be an opportunity for one of the developers on the forum to build a module to handle this maybe?

I am sure there would be a ready market for it.

Thanks
Cam
