Just wondering ...

If you don't specifically include any homepage content, the code in default.asp

If crs.eof then
shoppageheader
handleerror "No content record assigned to homepage"
shoppagetrailer

causes the header and trailer pages to be displayed again, nested within the outer header and trailer pages. Is there any particular reason for this? It took me a while to work out what was going on, because the "error message" appears very small hidden within two pairs of header/trailer pages, and when I did finally twig, I was a bit peeved that I'd wasted so much time!

It seems to be a lot cleaner (and more obvious!) if the header and trailer lines are commented out of the error-path code. Then you just get a big empty page with the error-message in it, which is sort of what I would expect really!

Hi Ade

This is something that will be resolved in our next release.

To fix it, you need to make the following change in default.asp.

Change the following -

shoppageheader
handleerror "No content record assigned to homepage"
shoppagetrailer

To -

handleerror "No content record assigned to homepage"
