I have a Windows web hosted solution with MySQL support.
Just bought VP-ASP 6.50, set the following modification on shop$config.asp file:

const xDatabase="dbname"
const xdblocation=""
const xdatabasetype="MYSQL351"
const xSQLUser="username"
const xSQLPwd="password"
const xSQLServer="IPAddressOfServer"
const xshopid="shopname001"
const xordernumber="myordernumber"

I ran convertmysql.asp and diag_dbtest.asp with successful results (I have tables and records in my database, which I access through phpMyAdmin).

The shop is still the demo style, with furniture articles inside. No other modifications to any file.
When trying to buy something, after the "Order details" page at shopcreateorder.asp, I have the following error message:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.37-standard-log]You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '00,otax=0,opst=NULL,ocountry='IT',ofax=NULL,ocompany=NULL,ocomment=NULL,oshipnam' at line 1

/shop/beta/shopmysqlsubs.asp, line 273

On my database, each time I try to register a new order, table orders has a new record which reports just a sequential new orderid and the surname of the buyer at olastname. All other fields are NULL or 0.

Is there anybody who can help me on this?
Site is http://www.toscanadeli.com/shop/beta

Thanks,
Stefano

For what its worth. I'm also receiving the same message but I'm using SQL SERVER 2005...

Any thoughts that it might be something with ODBC or the actual code behind VPASP thats trying to connect to ODBC....
