I'm following the procedure for setting up the system to accept supplier logins, I have completed the following:

1. I set xallowsupplierlogin, xrestrictadmintables, and xadminrestrictproducts to yes.

2. Created a new restricted admin account named "Supplier".

3. Granted access to the products table and the edit products admin page.

I then tried testing and received an error:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'
Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'fldurl like 'shopa_config.asp%' AND fldauto in ()'.
/shopheaders.asp, line 701

Not sure what this error is referring too. Also, I have the 2 passwords are needed to acccess my admin area, could this be causing the problem?

Minnesota Mike

Hi Mike,

Try this:

Locate the following -

Userid=getsess("shopadmin")
usertype=getsess("Admintype")
if ucase(usertype)="SUPPLIER" then
userid="supplier"
end if

Move to be above the following line -

AdminPageHeaderFull

Let me know if this does not work.

Thanks
Cam

Cam,

I made the chage but that did resolve the issue. I receive the same error. Just to double check, I made the change on the shopadmin1.asp file...is this the correct file?

Here is what it currently states:

'VP-ASP 6.50
versioning
Userid=getsess("shopadmin")
usertype=getsess("Admintype")
if ucase(usertype)="SUPPLIER" then
userid="supplier"
end if
AdminPageHeaderFull

DisplayTable
AdminPageTrailer

Also, should I be entering anything for the second password box?
