We are exhibiting at a trade show and want to have customers register at the show and automatically set them to receive trade discounts.
We use the custother1 field to set whether a customer gets trade prices or not.
I have taken a copy of shopcustregister.asp but can't work out how to set custother1=1-9.
I would also like to logout the customer after they have registered so the page is ready for other customers and return to this custom page rather than shopcustregister.asp

Any help would be most appreciated

hi rob,
doesn't seem like you got an answer yet, do you still need help setting up those fields for the trade show? you're on the right track for shopcustregister.asp, just search for 'CustomerUpdateFields objrs' and add immediately below it:
objrs("custother1") = "1" ' Set custom field

however, i think the more standard way involves putting SetSess("custother1","1") somewhere and addind custother1 to xcustomerOtherFields.
