i am using the points system and I have v 6.0 so I was wondering if anyone knows why the points are not being added to the customers information automatically? I have xpoints set to Yes and xpointsequalcurrency set to Yes and I am still having to manually type the points into the customer's information. any ideas?

There is a configuration option that defines the valid payment types that you trust.

xendofordervalidpayments=Visa, Authorizenet, Paypal, ...

If an order has a payment type other than the ones in that list, no points will be added. The field that is checked is ocardtype in the order record.
