What is the _vti_cnf folder in the shopping folder that seems to have all the same files again that exist already in the shopping directory? Can these be deleted since they seem to be duplicates of exisiting files?

I think they're something to do with microsoft frontpage; they're not in the original/actual vpasp zip files, it's just a system directory that frontpage seems to create when you use it as an ftp tool.

My advice would be to use something other than frontpage to publish/upload the files, I use:

AceFTP (free) -
http://software.visicommedia.com/en/

and also sometimes:
BeyondCompare (Paid, but has free trial period) -
http://scootersoftware.com/

It should be safe to delete all those _vti directories from the site, as long as you don't continue to use frontpage as your ftp tool.
