Hi,
All over the templates I see various formatting keywords e.g. FORMATHYPERLINKS, FORMATIMAGE.
Where on earth do you change the format of the keywords, they are not in the css file, so where are they?
Thanks

The code for those keywords are (mostly) in the shopfileio.asp file.
But, what we usually do is delete those particular template-fields (which are sort of wrapper template fields which do lots of different things) in the template files, and replace them with the corresponding detailed html/template-fields for the appropriate bits.
For example, we might change this in our tmp_productformat.htm template file:
[FORMATIMAGE SUB]
to have this instead:
<a href="shopexd.asp?id=[catalogid][add_websesslink]"> $<img src="[cimageurl]" border="0"><br> more...</a>
Most of the relevant html/template-fields for the sub-bits that you'd want to show are in the tmp_product.htm file, so you can copy the relevant bits from that too if you like, eg:
<a href="shopreviewadd.asp?id=[catalogid]">~langratingwrite^</a> | <a href="shopreviewlist.asp?id=[catalogid]">~langratingread^</a><br> [add_ratingsummary]
<a href="shoptellafriend.asp?id=[catalogid][add_websesslink]">~langtellafriendheader^</a>
we usually change the templates to have as much html/low-level fields as we can in the templates, and if we need complex conditional logic which isn't already available via a vpasp template-field then we use our "extra template-fields" addon to help build new ones, see also:
http://www.bigyellowzone.com/shopexd.asp?id=42
that addon is included for free in any of our template-field-related addons, so if you do want the template-field addon then check to see if you'd find any of our template-field addons useful first: http://www.bigyellowzone.com/softwareversions.asp#BYZ034S
on a related topic, here's some help/notes: 1) How to hide surrounding labels/html when a corresponding value in the database is null: http://www.bigyellowzone.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=223&CATE=8
2) Searching for text strings (very important; windows/xp search is dangerously bad) - http://www.bigyellowzone.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=220&CATE=8

Hi,
I asked this question ages ago, but still haven't received an answer that I can use.
I basicaly want to make the text larger in the shopdisplaycategories.asp page, so I have to change the formatting of FORMATIMAGE and/or FORMATHYPERLINKS. How the hell do I do it?
Please don't say look in this file or look in that file as I feel I have been through every single file available. Is there anyone out there that can tell me exactly where to look?
Thanks

Hi Steve,
What version are you using? If you can point us to a url as well it would be helpful and some of the developers on here who often help out will be able to point you in the right direction nice and quickly.
Thanks Cam
