Does VPASP check for duplicates when this method, userid/password, is used for customer login? ie two users selecting the same userid and password combination. Also how does VPASP handle forgotten userid and/or password for this method?

yea it does, check Sub CheckForDuplicate on shopcustomer. they send email to retrieve password
