Has anyone had trouble using the free version and the product description getting messed up after 500 items?

I am wondering if there are limits to the number of characters for prod. description, short description or long description.

you can check your database, and see the value, i think 255 by default

Kidd is correct about the db 255 text value default. If you feel it necessary to insert over this many characters; go in and change the settings for the table using Design View to "memo"... This will allow up to 164k but will also increase the overhead somewhat. If you don't go overboard you shouldn't see to much of a performance hit. Cheers
