Hi,

I want to use the random products facility but also exclude certain products from the random selection. I have defined the following set up:

xfrontpagefield = frontpage
xfrontpagevalue = random

I have also added the word "random" to the "frontpage" field for only those products I want to include in the random pool, and I thought that was it. However, every product seems to be included but I don't understand why. Does anyone have any idease please?

XfrontpagerandomField: point to extra field that you dont use on your products i.e pother2

Xfrontpagerandomvalue: set to anything you want, i.e test

on your product page set the value of pother2 to test

all products that have "test" value on pother2 will be displayed randomly
