Washington is WA
so is
Western Australia

When a customer hits checkout the washington people change to westarern australia... very confusing for them.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

If you are not selling many items to Western Australia an option may be to open the shopstates.asp file and simply remove it from the record.

We have actually removed Australian states from the most recent versions for this reason.
