| During a look through all the customer records we noticed several had an empty password field.
In some cases there were 2 entries for a customer record that used the same email address. 1 with a password and 1 without.
In one case there were 6 entries for the same email address, but only one had a password.
The lack of password only exists in records where there is more than one record for the same customer. i.e. there is no situation where a customer with one record does not have a password.
I tried various combinations of registering, changing details, registerering with the same info (which only appeared to update the original customer record), but could not create a record with a blank password field.
It's not possible to logon without a password but does anyone have ideas how/why this has occured and how it can be avoided in future?
