Hi there:
WE are in the process of moving our web page to another provider, for some reason the current provider does not want to gives a copy of our sql database, is there any way we can backup or copy this database using Enterprise Manager? that is the only way we have access.
Thanks.-

If you have access using Enterprise Manager, you have all you need. Select your database in the tree view on the left, right-click it, and look in the "All Tasks" menu. You should be able to back up the database from there. Where you put your database backup file is up to you, but remember that you'll need to get that file to send it to the new host.
If you have Enterprise Manager access, are you running SQL Server on your local machine? If so, you could just export that database from your web server to your local machine instead. Same process as above, just choose a different option. |
