I'm trying to test gateways in a back up of our site using configuration1. Everytime I change the gateway or paymetn settings and I have to reload the shop config in teh back up store I loose payment types for the live site. (it only shows paypal)

How can I test the gateway without affecting the live site?

Hi,

The easiest way to test gateways in a live site is simply go through the whole checkout process until the payment stage. Then change the URL to the new gateway shopcheckout file.
