We have an unusual situation where all of our products run as sub-products (or child products) from parent products, and are presented using the 'table' option, which gives a hyperlink to the extended description page. There are 2 problems we need to solve however: how can we modify the table display to show any field from the database (not just cname and hyperlink) and how can we change the look of the table so it's arranged neatly like a html table?

Also the extended description page is not displaying some of the asp code i'm pasting in (such as 'ask a question' link)?
Please help!

1.. [brackets] induce calls to the database columns in the product entry field.
2.. Knowledge of HTML is helpful, but you can actually open your templates up in design view in -oh say Frontpage to see how your tables will look...and see where your [bracketed instructions] are going. ps. make sure you look at the html view to take out any funny formatting
3.. some of the calls must be activated in the Set-up section of your virtual admin. There are several different pages besides products 1 and products2
