Hello,
Has anyone yet to develop a system to include a custom layout for products on a front mainpage?
example, my client runs a record store, he wishes to daily/weekly go and put the newest records on his mainpage. to this day he's just been editing an intependant webpage and manually cuting and pasting, you get the idea. is there a mod or way i can set up the cart so it will include say 8 items 2 by 2 in a table with image (clickable for ext desc.) the description and an add to cart link? possibly that as a seperate file to include, and then, i can include it from the front mainpage.
ive been playing with ideas such as a hidden directory which the item can be a member of, but because you cant include a file with a function running, "xxxx.asp?id=xx" etc, it's a bit hard to figure out for a intermediate as i am.
any ideas or has this been done yet? thanks so much.
