Has anyone implemented a feature where you can put in your sip Code right at the cart stage to get an estiamte of the UPS shipping rates ? Before you fill in all your address info etc.
I keep getting clients emailing me that they want to know the shipping cost before they go through the whole registration process.

Thanks

This facility is now available.

It allows you to display shipping cost at any time using any methods that you have defined for your shop.

The shipping cost calculator is supplied as a new program called shippingcost.asp

You can do any of the following:

1. Add a hyperlink any place on your site such as shoppage_header.htm or trailer
2. Add a menu item to My account (details supplied with software)
3. Use VP-ASP menu administration to add a link to the top navigation bar
4 Or you can add a link into any ASP file you choose.

When customer presses the hyperlink, the shipping cost is automtically displayed if the customer has logged in. Otherwise it prompts for destination post code, state and country and then displays the shipping costs.

So a customer does not need to login or have been a previous customer to get their shipping cost.
