I'm in the process of upgrading from V 4 to V 6. I've noticed that the input fields for coupons and gift certificates are shrunken on these pages... shopcustadmincoupon.asp shopgift.asp
Only happening in IE - Firefox is fine. Anyone else have this problem and can give me some advice?
Thanks,

Hi Donna,
Can you please open shop$colors and locate thw following line:
const tablecolumn="<td ...
Change this to:
const tablecolumn="<td width='150'...
The ... there refers to any code you may have after the opening td tag.
Hope this helps, Cam

Thanks, did this and it did expand the field. Doesn't look "perfect" as the right border on the field is missing, but it's definitely more usable now.
See what I mean here: http://www.mydollshop.com/vpasp6/shopgift.asp

H iDonna,
Try extending the cell width beyond 150 and see if that helps?
Thanks, Cam

Tried that, and didn't work. However, I did some tweaking on other fields in shop$colors and have resolved the problem. Thanks for your help, it got me definitely going in the right direction. |

Here is the last little bit:
Open shop$colors.asp and locate the const tabledef
Change the cellpadding and cellspacing settings so they are both 3.

Actually, I did try expanding past 150 and it still didn't help. I did do some adjustments to the template and styles and finally got it working okay. Took several tweaks to get it right. The problem wasn't with the field size, but with the stylesheet. Thanks for all the help, tho, it got me looking in the right direction once I realized the width wasn't really the problem. |
