I need some help making a new field show up on the main edit screens in the Products, Categories and Content Pages in the Admin Area. I have been able to add the new fields and get them to show up in the right order when I click on the Advance link at the top of these pages, but I would like them to show up on the previous page. Can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

VP-ASP has a powerful feature that allows you to add multiple fields to the database and have them appear in the admin and be able to display them in the front end with no changes to the code.

You can add the extra fields to the database and then reference these fields in the online Set-Up by inserting the field names and the captions into the following 2 fields:

xproductothercaptions
xproductotherfields

You can also add extra fields in the same way to the orders, customers and shipping tables.
