Hello,

First post... nothing earth-shattering. I would like to change the header colors (eg., Top Sellers, Categories, Quick Search, etc.) to something other than gray. I checked a lot of pages, stylesheets, etc. and don't seem to be able to figure it out.

Thanks in advance for any direction on how it's done.

Hi there,

have you looked in shop$colors.asp?

line 33

' Categories
const CatHeader="<b><p align=center class='txtheader'>"
const CatRow="<TR bgColor='#FFFFFF'>"
Const CatColumn="<TD valign=top align=center><p align=center><b>"
Const CatTable="<table border=0 cellpadding=0 width='100%' cellspacing=1 bordercolor='#666666' align=center>"
Const CatColumnEnd="</b></p></td>"

for the quick search (i assume you mean the one that has the magnifying glass in it) you will find in shoppage_header.htm

I think that you are actually talking about the headers in each section on the default.asp page.

Look in stylesheets/shop.css

There you want to make changes to the menuhdr parts of this file.

VPASP is slowly starting to use more and more CSS. This is great as it allows for quick changes. If you are not familiar with CSS, I would suggest a visit to www.w3schools.com . This site is invaluable to understand web page codes.

Thanks very much for the replies. Went right to it in shop.css and had the colors right where I wanted them in about 90 seconds. If I would have posted the question first, I would have saved myself 43.5 minutes of work. Thanks again.

There is also some action in class= dashed.
You have to do a lot of them to get it right.
