This doesn't seem to be true for content and templates. It would be nice if those had that feature.

It would also be handy to have a way to mark templates or content for registered users only. That would force users to register before they could view content or products using those templates.

You can do this already in version 6.00. You can set a content page as being restricted and only visible for registered users.

The same with products and categories.
