whenever I make a copy of an item and then I make the changes (e.g. to product code, name, description, etc) and then change the Category and Update ... everything reverts back to what it was before the changes even tho it has added a new item. The only way around this at the moment is Make a Copy > Update > Hide (so the new item is not live before I get a chance to change things) > Update > then make required changes > Unhide > Update.
Surely that is too tedious and when a new copy is made, details changed, updated ... it should not revert back to original details!!!? |
