My site is currently using MS SQL Server 2000. My host is now offering MS SQL Server 2005.

Does version 6.0 or even 5.5 work with MS SQL Server 2005? Has it been tested? Will testing be done in the future?

I am currently on 5.5. I will be upgrading to 6.0, hopfully soon.

I am not being forced to move to MS SQL server 2005. At least not yet. I am willing to bet, in the future, my host will move us all.

Any comments on this subject are welcome.

Thanks,
Brian Weber

Hi Brian,

As yet no testing has been done on SQL Server 2005 but as VP-ASp does not use any database features beyond the actual tables themselves there is very little to break.

Some clients have implemented many changes directly in the database that may be impacted by these changes but most SQl users will not be.

Thank you
Cam
