We've just upgraded our packing-slip so that it's now fully compatible with V6 (as well as backwards compatible with 4.5/5/5.5).

We've also enhanced the installation/readme instructions so that it's easier to follow/install and generally spruced-up the default settings etc.

It comes with 2 versions; the admin version for you to view the order info and print off packingslips/receipts, and a customer version which your customers can view from their "review previous orders" page. You can install either/both of those, and configure them separately if you like.

Hello,

So does it mean that if I purchased a packing slip for ver. 5.5 and upgraded to 6 from big yellow zone, it will stop working and I have to purchase this new version to work on 6?

Actually, the vpasp5.5 version of the slip will still work in v6 of vpasp as-is, but the installation steps are slightly different for adding the links to it (and the defaults for the slip are more nicely set).

We've revamped/formalised our upgrade procedures/rules, and we'll be sending out a mailshot to all our signed-up users once more addons are converted/tested/proved on v6 to explain upgrade procedures.

see:
http://www.bigyellowzone.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=22
(and the 4 related issues at the bottom)

we've also added a new "free byz upgrades for ever" package:
http://www.bigyellowzone.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=24

If I were a byz customer, I think I'd go for that option as it means that no matter what byz addons you buy in the future (or have bought in the past), or when you buy each bit, you'll be able to upgrade any/all of them whenever you want for no extra cost/hassle/purchase.

In the near future, we'll be upgrading the "BYZ Addon List" screen to be like a windows-update thing, where you can view all your addons and press a button to check for updates and get the links for upgrades etc.
