This post is to help newcommers avoid confusion with support.

I am a new VSASP user. I signed up with a great web hosting company - Alentus! They are a reseller for VSASP. I Highly Recomended Them!

I did have some confusion about who supplies the VSASP support - The reseller or direct from VSASP. When I purchased the program I was under the assumption that VSASP would handle it.

So, VSASP please post the official support policy. This will be very helpful for those of us who purchase the software through a reseller.

Also, please post how do buy support directly from VSASP after the intial support period is over.

Thank you for bringing this up. We often get this asked to our support desk so great idea to post it here as well.

If you purchase through a reseller the reseller will be your point of contact for support. We have hundreds of resellers and as part of our agreement with them is that they provide support to their customers.

Upgrades and free add-ons are also obtainable from your reseller.

For most resellers the customer will not appear in our system hence they cannot get access to our add-ons or our support ticketing system.

Some resellers purchase individually on behalf of the customer in which case the customer will have a record in our system and can access all of the facilities on our site. Only a couple of resellers operate like this though.

While this is designed for those who download the FREE VP-ASP Starter Pac it can also be used by existing customers who either are out of the 12 months period to access our range of add-ons or those who do not wish to upgrade to the latest release.
