I followed the fixed shipping recommended settings and am getting the following error displayed during check out:
Cannot locate shipping record
select * from shipmethods where shipmethod='Ground'
If I remove the entry of "Ground" from the xfixedshippingmethod field, the error still displays but without Ground at the end.
Version: 6.0 Plus
Current shipping settings are as follows:
(I have tried changing some of these but the possible combinations are many)

xdeliveryshipping No
xfixedshippingcost 6.00
xfixedshippingmethod Ground
xshippingbycountry No
xshippingcalc Fixed
xshippingdatabaserecords No
xshippingform No
xshippingselection No

Is anyone else working with this new version yet that has succeeeded with fixed shipping or is this a small bug?

I have forwarded some updated files to you which should solve this problem for you.
A patch will also be released later today, which will include these updated files.

Where will "updates" to v6 be posted? Looking around for updates/patches and can't seem to find where you post these??

With VP-ASP 6.00, we aim to be more pro-active about keeping our customers informed and up-to-date with updates and news.
We will also be updating the news feed that appears in the front page of the VP-ASP admin when updates are made.
While you are downloading the patch, please take the opportunity to have a browse through our new-look helpnotes. Moving our helpnotes online will mean they are as up-to-date as possible and we will be continually adding and improving the content.

Hi - I have that error too, but I have also installed the .04 update and still get the following message :
Cannot locate shipping record
select * from shipmethods where shipmethod=''
Any ideas greatly appreciated? |
