It would be great if there's an option or add-on facility that could allow merchants to add/edit/delete customer info form fields at checkout and specify which additional fields are mandatory. For example, for customers in the hotel/service industry, merchants could add say the Passport No. / male or female / Ms or Mr or Mrs or Dr or Prof / no. of accompanying persons sharing the room / company registration no. / Fax no. / Website URL / Designation / etc. etc.
The default database could have much more unused optional fields (say 50) so that the add-on application could use those blank optional fields to store those additional customer info.
In this way, VPASP would no longer be restricted to just suit the retail industry but also suitable for the service industry as well that do not require so much info on shipping details but on the customer's background to better service the client.
