Here is a little tool I came across a few weeks ago. http://www.weblogexpert.com/
They have a free version and a pro version that you can use for 30 days free.
What this does is take your weblogs and generates reports showing all kinds of data about your site(s). The thing I like the most is that is shows 404 and 500 errors (an others) so you can see if you missed a picture, have a bad link or it will even show you that people are trying to hack you. I now use it on all my site and I have it automatically generate reports every 5 minutes so I can just hit a link and it shows me the pages pretty much in real time.
I am not affiliated with that company what so ever, it is just a cool tool that has really helped me run my many VP-ASP sites.

cool posting/idea; here's another useful (non-affiliated) tool. This one's for searching for text strings in your files:
Loads of people need/want to look for specific text strings in their vp-asp code/pages (especially for language/config variables) so that they can see where/how they're used etc, and make sure they catch all instances when they make a change.
If you've got a microsoft-based pc, then the find-files/text search is totally broken (in xp it doesn't work at all; it hardly ever hits any of the files it should do, even when you specify/include "asp" in your config settings etc; it simply doesn't bother looking at the files but also doesn't produce any errors; very very dangerous, and typically microsoft).
So, if you are using microsoft as your operating system, and want to search for which files have certain text strings in them, you need to install a totally non-microsoft-authored 3rd party piece of software which actually works.
And here's a free one which I've been using that works REALLY well; not only does it show you the files with the strings in them, but it also gives you the text of the line that uses the string; it's called "Agent Ransack"....

Here is agreat little editor I use alot with vp-asp http://www.notetab.com/ntl.php
it is free as well. When you go to load a file you want to edit, hold the control key to select multiple files or what I do is start at the first file and then hold the shift and click the last file and they will all load. Now you can search and replace, or just search on every vp-asp file at once. It also has many modules for writting code, I dont use that part, but you all might like it.

Here is another great link for those of us who run thier own servers. It is a list of free utilities that will show you what ports are opening and closing, what programs are runing and all kinds of other things. These are also great for finding spyware and hacks within any PC.

Notetab isn't too bad but I like;
Arachnophilia 4 - HTML editor. It looks primitive but it has a lot of shortcuts for doing basic HTML. http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/index_old.html
CuteFTP Pro - FTP client with built-in HTML editor. Great FTP client, editor will allow you to edit files on a remote server. It asts a little weird sometimes but very handy if you are on the move a lot like I am. http://www.globalscape.com/cuteftppro/ |

Quick, easy, and FREE thumbnail maker. I love it because in just a few clicks, I can take a CD of images from a client and create my thumbnails with a max width or height AND add a prefix or suffix to the new filename. Don't let the program name fool you. I easily convert hi-res images to my cart "large" images too.
